The story of Chapter 22 – The Bookstore began right here in the heart of Redland Bay. As a mother of three, Brit envisioned more than a retail space: she dreamed of a sanctuary that bridged the gap between a personal home library and a vibrant community hub.
Inspired by a love for books, stories and the peace a great read brings, Brit set out to build a mission-driven boutique. This isn't only about selling books. It's about curated experiences and the shared joy of turning the next page.
Today the mission stays clear: a community of book lovers where preloved stories find new chapters and every reader finds a friend.
Most of what lands on these shelves comes from independent authors. They built this genre and they still put the best of it out themselves, and a small shop is one of the few places that can actually give them the room.
